Capitalizing on a child’s natural curiosity and exuberance, Sacred Heart provides many opportunities both on and off campus for our students to experience cultural, artistic, and social enrichment such as plays, museum visits, concerts and dance performances. Significant learning takes place when students participate and reflect on their experience, and then incorporate their new understanding into their daily lives. What experiential learning does best is capture the interest and involvement of the students.
On May 1st, the seventh grade traveled to Nashville, Tennessee and visited the Hermitage, President Andrew Jackson’s home, the Parthenon, the State Capitol building, and the Tennessee State Museum. What a great day!
