The Greenville trip is a special Sacred Heart experience. This type of trip promotes self-confidence, curriculum extension, team-building, and spiritual growth in 7th graders. Students develop more confidence after trying challenging activities such as rock climbing, hiking, high ropes, and zip lining. It is empowering for children to overcome fears and learn new skills. Science and language academics are advanced by various classes and reflective writings on their return. Friendships are made and strengthened through day groups, family-style meals, and cabin life. Most importantly, participants find spiritual growth through nature, evening devotions, grace at every meal, the presence of clergy, and an unforgettable sunrise Mass. An adventure camp with spiritual values is a memorable turning point for our Sacred Heart students.
