Sacred Heart Cathedral School has two tuition tiers: Parishioner Tuition Rates and Non-Catholic Tuition Rates. Pashioner Tuition Rates are supplemented by the Parish from which the student is a member and are for families with students at SCHS only.

The tables below outline tuition rates for the upcoming school year.

*A retainer fee of $185.00 per family is required when the registration packet is returned. This payment is applied to the above fees. The retainer fee is non-refundable unless SHCS, for any reason, is unable to accept a student or if a family relocates out of town.

Supplemental Tuition Assistance
Families who believe they cannot afford to pay the Net Catholic Tuition should request supplemental tuition assistance. Catholic Charities processes all requests for supplemental tuition assistance. Families that currently have children attending SHCS must have their completed supplemental tuition assistance request packets to Catholic Charities by February 28th. Families new to SHCS who are planning to request supplemental tuition assistance should forward their completed packets to Catholic Charities immediately. The forms necessary to request supplemental tuition assistance are available in the School Business Office.

TUITION/FEE PAYMENT PLANS
There are two payment options from which to choose.

  • Option 1: Single Payment.
    You choose to pay all of the Single Yearly* Payment Tuition rate, plus the total Book Fee, Miscellaneous Fee, Technology Fee and Home & School fee up front before August 1, 2011. You may pay with a check directly to the school.
  • Option 2: Monthly Payment by electronic bank draft
    You choose to pay the total of your Tuition, Book Fee, Miscellaneous Fee, Technology Fee and Home & School Fee over ten months by electronic bank draft. FACTS Tuition Management Service will electronically deduct the payment from your bank account each month beginning in August 2011. A FACTS enrollment form will be sent to you after you return this packet to the school. There is a processing fee of $38.00 per family that will be due when your enrollment form is processed by FACTS. Do not send a check. The $38 will be drafted from your account just as your monthly payments will be. You may reduce your monthly amount due through FACTS by making a down payment to the school before August 1, 2011.

YOUNG FOLKS AFTER SCHOOL CARE CHARGES
The school will bill Young Folks after school care charges each month. If you sign up for Young Folks Plan A, Plan B or Plan C, the monthly charge will be included in your monthly electronic bank draft amount. You may elect to instead make payment of these charges directly to the school each month. Payment of YoungFolks drop-in charges should be made directly to the school each month.
