Athletic Policies

All SHCS student athletes will receive a copy of the SHCS Athletic Handbook, which outlines the program and parent/student expectations and opportunites. The Student Athlete Pledge Form must be signed by the participating student and parent and returned to the Athletic Director prior to participating in practice.

The purpose of the Sacred Heart Cathedral School Athletic Program is to encourage the growth of Christ-like behavior by encouraging sportsmanship, commitment, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for others and one’s self through interscholastic athletics.

Athletic participation is open to any sixth, seventh, or eighth grade student (boy or girl) who meets the proper school academic, physical and disciplinary requirements.
