Greetings!

As the new Athletic Director at Sacred Heart Cathedral School, I look forward to continued success of the athletics program at Sacred Heart. It is an honor to oversee a program that strives for excellence in all of our athletic endeavors.

We compete in the Knoxville Independent Schools League (KISL), consisting of private and religious schools in and around Knox County. We also emphasize academics first and require athletes to meet a higher standard at SHCS.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parent volunteer coaches that help make our program so successful.

The following are a few highlight from the past 5 years:

• Our middle school boys football team has had an undefeated and championship team in the Knox County Football League.
• Our boys and girls basketball teams have made five straight trips to the State Tournament with the boys winning a state championship.
• Our boys and girls have had undefeated seasons and county championships in soccer in the Knox County League.
• Our tennis teams—boys and girls– have helped produced two nationally ranked players and have been very competitive in their league.
• We have had competitive teams in varsity softball, golf, volleyball, track and cross-country, as well as our junior varsity teams in basketball and our Catholic Youth Football program.
• Our cheerleaders have won numerous awards for sportsmanship and execution.
