All of our teachers are trained in the use of Google apps in the classroom. We hosted an “augmented reality” day with Google staff this spring. We are also proud to have Google-certified educators on staff as well.
Several members of our faculty have received or been nominated for awards from the National Catholic Education Association, the largest association for Catholic schools in the country. In 2018, Principal Daniel Breen was nominated for an award in innovation.

River & Rail Theatre Company, a professional theater company that emphasizes diversity in the arts, proudly produces SHCS’s fall and spring dramas.
Adidas is the official apparel supplier of SHCS Eagles Athletics.
In 2018, SHCS began working with several programs through the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education. Through this partnership, teachers have received professional development in working with students for whom English is a new language. The school also received a trainee from the ECHO program, which is a dynamic, two-year service- learning program that prepares tomorrow’s leaders in faith formation.
