“We don’t receive wisdom; we must discover it for ourselves after a journey that no one can take for us…”
~ Marcel Proust
Experiential learning is equivalent to personal change and growth. At Sacred Heart Cathedral School we believe each student has a natural propensity to learn and it is our role to facilitate such learning. Significant learning takes place when students participate in some activity, reflect upon the activity, use their analytical skills to derive useful insight from the experience, and then |
incorporates their new understanding into their daily lives. What experiential learning does best is capture the interest and involvement of the students.
