Sacred Heart Cathedral School offers many different ways to get involved at the school.
All volunteers and all employees of the school and parish who are in contact with children are required to attend a VIRTUS training session and to complete online training bulletins.
The Diocese of Knoxville’s program for the protection of children and youth is based on training developed by VIRTUS and is offered regularly throughout the diocese. A three-hour seminar for adults, “Protecting God’s Children,” is required for parish and school employees and regular volunteers in contact with children and is also recommended for parents and grandparents.
