Sacred Heart Cathedral School is the parish school of the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus of the Diocese of Knoxville. Both the school and the church were founded in 1956.  In 2015, construction of the new Sacred Heart Cathedral began. This new 1200-seat worship space was dedicated on March 3, 2018.

The Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is a vibrant and growing parish that is highly diversified in ethnic mix, age, and social economics. There are over 1,800 registered families with approximately 5,500 members. 

Sacred Heart Cathedral offers six-weekend masses: 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (Vigil) on Saturdays, and 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 1:00 pm (Spanish).
