As we wish her well, we are now searching for our next Director of Development. This important role will lead the Annual Fund, the Auction & Gala, grow our endowment fund to ensure Sacred Heart’s long-term sustainability, and continue strengthening our community engagement. We are excited for this next chapter and will keep you updated as we continue building on all we have achieved together.
I’m thrilled to confirm that we will have three homerooms per grade, Kindergarten through 8th grade, for the 2026–2027 school year. Thanks to our successful Auction & Gala, we will be able to implement the new STREAM lab, which will also have a full-time STREAM teacher, enriching our students’ educational experience and supporting our teachers in their ongoing goal of meeting every child’s needs.
In addition, we are excited to continue strengthening our elementary K–5 program through the implementation of a Learning Lab model designed to meet students where they are academically and support their individual growth. This approach will create more opportunities for targeted support, enrichment, personalized learning, and differentiation so that each child is both challenged and supported as they prepare for a successful transition into middle school. We also remain committed to supporting our middle school students through strong differentiation efforts and a continued focus on the whole child.

As we finish this school year strong, I want to take a moment to thank you for your trust, collaboration, communication, and partnership in our shared mission. Together, we guide our students to become the best versions of themselves—growing academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally—always with our ultimate goal of helping them know Christ and reach Heaven.
As we look ahead, I am filled with hope and excitement for the bright future we are shaping together. With your continued partnership, Sacred Heart will continue to thrive in both faith and excellence.
Go Eagles!!!
In Christ,
Valerie Hanks
