Sacred Heart Cathedral School is delighted to celebrate our 103 scholars who qualified for the Duke University Talent Identification Program for 2019!
The Duke University Talent Identification Program identifies academically-talented students in 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th grade based on their standardized test scores. Those scores must rank at or above the 95th percentile nationally on a qualifying test. This year, about 48% of our students in grades 4, 5, 6, and 7 qualified for Duke TIP!
Younger students who qualify for Duke TIP may take the PSAT, and 7th graders may take the SAT or ACT as ways to learn more about their academic potential. All who qualify receive resources to help them continue to grow academically.
Congratulations to all these scholars at Sacred Heart and to their parents and teachers who nurture and support them. God has blessed us all abundantly.
