Sacred Heart Cathedral School is delighted to celebrate our 2017 scholars who qualified for the Duke University Talent Identification Program…all 106 of them!
The Duke University Talent Identification program identifies academically-talented students in 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th grade based on their standardized test scores. Those scores must rank at or above the 95th percentile nationally. Younger students who qualify for Duke TIP may take the PSAT, and 7th graders may take the SAT or ACT as ways to learn more about their academic potential. All who qualify receive resources to help them continue to grow academically.
We also thank and celebrate our 22 8th graders who set the standard for this year’s 106 scholars by qualifying last year!
Congratulations to all these scholars at Sacred Heart and to their parents and teachers who nurture and support them. God has blessed us all abundantly.
