How To Make A Gift/Donation
There are several options! You can make a one-time gift or pledge now for later payment (by June 30). You may pay by cash or check. You may also make recurring payments throughout the school year. Donations are accepted via Sacred Heart’s WeShare website.
2023-2024 Annual Fund Parent Chairs
Dear Sacred Heart families and friends,
We are honored to chair the Annual Fund for the 2023-2024 academic year for Sacred Heart Cathedral School. SHCS has provided us with a sense of community and family for just over four years now, since our move to Knoxville from Charleston, SC, in the summer of 2019. We quickly found ourselves immersed in the Sacred Heart community and all it has to offer by not only actively participating in programs with a purpose to serve (Knights of Columbus, Saint Clare Guild, classroom volunteer, etc.) but also events like the Fall Festival, school concerts, sporting events and other school/parish-wide events designed to bring our community closer together.
Our family [Ben and Shannon, with children Wylie (6th grade), Avery (3rd), Sadie (1st), and Cohen(Pre-school Young 3’s class)] values the focus the school puts into educating our children in a Catholic, Christ-centered environment, through receiving religious education and sacramental preparation, along with regular Mass attendance. In addition to the academic standard, being a Catholic school, SHCS takes on a primary purpose to help children grow to be disciples of Christ. It is reassuring to know that our children are genuinely loved and prayed for by their teachers, administrators, priests, staff, and one another. This year the school’s theme is “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12
We humbly ask that you join us in contributing to this year’s Annual Fund and be “the light of the world” for our students. All funds raised during this campaign will go directly into our children’s education and, more specifically, to make advancements in STREAM initiatives (science, technology, religion, engineering, art, and math). Did you know that annual tuition only covers around 85% of the cost it takes to run the school effectively? We are hoping for 100% participation from all of our families this year. Our school can be most successful only with the generous support it receives from the community: time, talent, and treasure. We must be stewards of God. Any size donation makes a difference in helping educate our children and instilling a love for learning.
